I’v been slacking

High cost of Seattle area commuter railway and bike trail
Officials who want to build a commuter railway and bicycle trail on the abandoned BNSF railroad in Seattle's Eastside suburbs might be suffering sticker shock today. A report estimates the cost for the 42-mile corridor at between $1 billion to $1.2 billion for the railway alone between Renton and Woodinville. Aprilia Unveils Official Livery

Woah! 195 pounds of clip-n-seal on an Xtracycle?
I was over at Bike Hugger this morning and came across this chilly article about a Xtracycle user who used his bike to transport 195 pounds of clip-n-seal to the post office. Indoor Racing Update
Brought the cross bike up to the National Sports middle artificial turf and tested things out. It’s just like riding on grass except it seems like you can corner a lot harder without slipping. I also tested out a rear wheel lock up to look the impact on the turf and I found no evidence of damage. It’s a massive room, almost 15,000 square feet. Plenty of space to have a good racing course. If my contact at the NSC gives me the green light then I think we will be every systems go for an indoor s
